In this featured upcycled garment, I showcase the intricate art of surface design. Demonstrated through the technique of trapunto, I've curated a piece that seamlessly merges simplicity with rich detail, resulting in a captivating 3D effect. Carefully selecting materials to breathe life into this vision, I utilized stuffing for its captivating textural elements, upcycled torn black jeans as the canvas, and added metallic thread to infuse a touch of sophistication.

In crafting the main detail, I meticulously cut a series of hexagons from black denim jeans and contrasting upholstery swatch material. This selection of fabrics serves to create a dynamic interplay of textures within the design. To elevate the visual appeal, I applied a skillful touch by incorporating a zigzag stitching technique, not only for its structural integrity but also to introduce a captivating and intricate detail.
